Christmas has come and gone.. Whew! The holiday flew by this year.. Did I go shopping the day after Christmas and grab up all of the bargains out there? Nope.. I thought it a great idea to stay home and redesign my site, EnchantingJewels.com to give it a new look and new flair for the upcoming new year.

Anyhoo... Being the web geek that I am, I did spend the 26th of December piecing together and coming up with just the right design to enter 2010. I was complimented much on the Christmas design I had and I will likely make this design available to others later.. I wanted to capture the spirit of feminine elegance that is the soul and flavor of Enchanting Jewels. In addition to spending way too many hours sitting in front of my computer screen this weekend, I did also manage to watch the movie Julie and Julia, a total chick flick (lol) My husband sat by watching as well but I believe it is something truly geared more to the female heart and mind. I would have to say it is both light and funny and good for anyone who like me, has cooked many complex dishes in the hopes of being a miniature gourmet.. Would I consider myself a "foodie"? Hmm, maybe.. I certainly appreciate the talent and skills involved in such levels of cooking.. However, I believe I am far too squeemish to attempt many of the recipes that Julie Powell did. God bless her for her bravery.. I give the move a definite thumbs up, particularly on a Sunday evening when the mood is mellow and relaxed as mine was :)
